I thought Senior Discount was a band. I see a lot more than music here - what is the deal?
Senior Discount are four handsome men who are dedicated to art. Our main deal is - we play rock music (and play it well). We combine this with writing/filming comedic videos, doing podcasts, live sketch comedy, web design, promoting or otherwise helping other local bands, and whatever else we feel like doing. The reasons for this are:
1. We want our fans to be able to enter a whole world when they really get into us, and we feel that we definitely provide that world.
2. We are multi-faceted and believe in creation.

What is the VBW?
The VBW are Senior Discount's best pals who help us promote, appear in the videos, or appear on the podcast. In the past they have consisted of Jordan Furtado, Ben Chauvin, Johnny Cabral, Aaron Arcello, Dylan Salvatore, and Rob Luther. But for a while now, the group has consisted of Brad Rohrer, Patrick Dennis, Brian Lau, Abe Correia, Alyssa Hozey, Casey Regan, and occasionally the elusive Lou Perella.

It says everywhere that the Senior Discount site will be "constantly upated" - how much can you really update it?
Alot! We have a band twitter working 24 hours a day, as well as new actual content EVERY single Monday! This content will include podcasts, songs, videos, pictures, and anything else we can think of. We want the site to be more of a hub for entertainment, rather than a regular band site that just has bios and show dates. Also - feel free to submit things to us in the Fan-Submitted section. We'd love for more people to join the team!

What's the deal with the podcast?
"Agreeing to Disagree: The Chuck and Brad Podcast" is a weekly podcast, hosted by Senior Discount lead-singer and guitarist Chuck Staton, alongwith with co-hort/Senior Discount video-star, Brad Rohrer. Every week you get an inside look on what's going on behind the scenes with Senior Discount, and the two pals also talk about recent (and not-so-recent) movies, music, video games and news in general. They also tell stories and interview bands. Pretty freakin fantastic!

What is the deal with "VBW Attack: The Senior Discount Movie" on DVD? Is it a comedy? Is it live concert footage?
That movie is basically a docu-comedy. It's a collection of real, unscripted footage of the band (as well as a very small amount of clips from our scripted videos). It includes pranks, some live footage, some crazy stunts/pranks the band has done (Chuck's public enema, filling Tom's room with 300 pumpkins for Halloween, "Taking Eight Times The Recommended Dosage Of Ipecac", etc.) and also tells the story of the band. The DVD includes optional full-length comedy from three Discount members and over 90 minutes of extras.

I'm confused by a specific name/location/band-name/term you've used. What does it mean?
Check out the Senior Discount encyclopedia. This will explain any part of the Senior Discount world/vocabulary that may not be unfamiliar to new-comers.

What do you mean when you say "full-length videos" or "scripted web series"? I'm confused about all the different video types you create.
Senior Discount does a continuing series of web videos, about sitcom-episode length (21 minutes), to promote for different shows or releases. They have a continuing storyline and star the band (kind of like the Monkees TV show - but for adults!)
Senior Discount creates these scripted episodes, and also scripted comedic sketch videos, unscripted comedic stunts/pranks, other miscellaneous videos (like TV appearances and interviews), and of course live/music videos. We are run by ourselves so we'll never sell your email adress to anyone else. We're going to try to keep it to around one email a week, and you won't be emailed by a robot. You'll be able to respond and talk to us through the update, if you so wish.

I heard a song about Tom, your lead guitarist. It inferred that he's a homosexual. Is he really gay?
I don't know why people don't believe us. Yes, he is. If you'd like to ask him, then ask him. He IS!

Was there someone else in your band before?
Yes, his name was Kevin. He started the band with Chuck and Christian. He quit the band onstage in front of 500 people with no prior announcement to the rest of the band, who had been friends with him for the previous seven years. That sentence sums him up pretty well. Read the story here.

Can I burn some Senior Discount songs to a CD and hand them out to promote for you guys?
Yes you can. Whatever you like. We are not dicks about this stuff. In fact, we will have a DVD ISO up soon for you to download if you want to burn some DVDs to pass out or show our stuff to your friends.

If I film something crazy for you guys, or otherwise create something having to do with you guys, will you put it up on the site? Will you give me a free CD, DVD, or shirt??
We are having a new "Fan-Submitted" section so it will almost definitely end up on our site (no videos of you punching your little sister in the face - unless she's 18 and a bitch!). We love fan stuff, and we love to correspond with our fans - write us at seniordiscountbooking@gmail.com about any of this stuff. If you do something that really shines, I'm sure we will reward you in some way.

The chances are slim unless you're a really hot girl willing to do just about anything (especially pee on Tom) - or if you're the little kid with the mohawk who was break-dancing at the New England Talent Awards this year.
