Alan Sousa plays the bass guitar/guitar strap/back-up vocals. Sousa (AKA "Crooked Dick Sousa") is Senior Discount's second bass-man. Their first bass-man lives in seclusion and watches Matthew McConaughey movies. Alan Sousa expects to die in protest at the hands of a mugger, just like Batman's parents.
Aside from playing music with S*D, Sousa studies martial arts. "Criminals should be stopped," Sousa once said. "By me." he added much later.
Sousa performs live improv comedy and has a history with stand-up. Alan Sousa (AKA "The Brave One") and Chuck Staton have been co-writing the videos since the beginning. Oh, and Sousa owns a kayak.
